According to the Google Economic Impact Report by Access Partnership , USD 3 trillion of economic benefits are expected for businesses in key Asia-Pacific countries in 2030, if AI-powered products and solutions are adopted.1 This has implications for the workforce across all sectors and backgrounds emphasizing the need to cultivate a robust pool of AI talent. Despite the significant opportunities that AI presents for the economy, a collective effort is necessary to ensure no worker is left behind.

We are excited to announce the 49 recipients selected by AVPN in 2024 – these organizations are united by a shared mission to empower vulnerable communities, closing the AI skills gap and ensuring equitable access to the opportunities of tomorrow.

Additionally, Google.org is supporting Infoxchange with $2M funding to reach 10,000 nonprofits across APAC with AI training and tools, including personalized learning journeys, live expert webinars, self-paced learning libraries, online forums, and non-profit action planning consultations.
